Map Testing - July 6, 2009

Hi all, we finally held another map testing session. 7 uploaded and 15 collected maps were tested. 6 maps have been approved to stay on the server.

-- Monza Grand Prix 1.2 --
- cp 17 could be placed better so you can't miss it (MCvarial)
- Don't think the obstacles in the pit. You need to be able to repair without getting to far behind. You can get damaged through no fault of your own, you see. (raz0)

- the fences and the wooden stuff at cp 32-33 suck (MCvarial)

- Lots of potential, but the left lane = crash sucks. You can't possibly predict that. (raz0)

- Start is way too safe for a DD. (raz0)
- comming out of the garage fucks your camera and you can't see the sudden drop (MCvarial)

- Honestly can't see this taking off, people will just kill each other at the start ([O.o]Alpha)

- Cuts off the whole ending which was long, but should've just been shortened ([O.o]Alpha)
- I don't like the Leviathan, far too heavy and clunky ([O.o]Alpha)
- Slightly odd fix for the hydra part ([O.o]Alpha)
- The ending should have been shortened indeed (island moved way closer). (raz0)

- tight start, first corner = cluster (MCvarial)
- the distance between cp 10 and 11 is to big, it is confusing (MCvarial)

- whats with the road block after cp10? (Cygnus)
+ Started out great. Then CP 10-20 was pure brain damage. Rest was good again. (raz0)

- CP 15 - 17, no way you'll be able to break or avoid the buildings ([O.o]Alpha)

- Also, brake once and you can't get through the whole length ([O.o]Alpha)

- Horrible middle with all the barrels ([O.o]Alpha)
- if one guy misses a loop and crashes into the barrels, all the others in the loop area die! (MCvarial)

- The barrels really need to be sorted. (raz0)
- after doing all those cirkels at the start I'm too dizzy to do all the other loops... (MCvarial)

- Stuck from the hunter pickup. (raz0)
- the colour of the cp blips and the player blip is the same, its confusing for the hunters (MCvarial)
- since you have to do more then 1 lap, hunters can easily camp at 1 spot (MCvarial)
- Needs to have the hunter pickups spread out ([O.o]Alpha)
